The Silver Accessories Contest<\/strong> is back again this year\u2014the prestigious international competition promoted by Art Clay Club Japan<\/strong>, dedicated to all artists who love to experiment with this extraordinary material. <\/p>\n\n

The Silver Accessories Contest <\/h2>\n\n

Established in Japan in 2000, the Silver Accessories Contest<\/strong> is one of the most important events for artists working with Art Clay Silver<\/strong>. Each year, artworks from around the world highlight the versatility and incredible creative potential of this material. <\/p>\n\n

For the 2026 edition, the chosen theme is “Future”<\/strong>, and there are numerous competition categories: rings, accessories, silver quilling, origami, framed objects, as well as creations made using the refined mokume-gane<\/strong> and nerikomi<\/strong> techniques.<\/p>\n\n

The first selection will take place on October 8, 2025<\/strong>. The artworks that pass this stage will be published in the contest\u2019s official Booklet<\/strong> and exhibited at the Tokyo exhibition in January 2026<\/strong>. The jury will announce the winners on October 9, 2025<\/strong>, and Hobbyland<\/strong> will inform all participants of the results. <\/p>\n\n

Silver Accessories Contest Awards<\/h2>\n\n

There are numerous prizes are up for grabs, from honorable and excellence mentions<\/strong> to the prestigious Grand Prix<\/strong>, which awards 500,000 yen (about \u20ac3,200)<\/strong> to the overall winner.<\/p>\n\n

How to apply for the contest with Hobbyland<\/h2>\n\n

As the official representatives of Art Clay in Italy<\/strong>, Hobbyland will take care of the collection, shipping and return of the competing works.<\/p>\n\n

To register, you must download and fill out<\/strong> the application form, participation form and ID label<\/strong><\/a>, ensuring that each submitted artwork must have its own set of documents.<\/p>\n\n

The registration fee is \u20ac70<\/strong>, which includes registration of a single artwork, shipping to Japan<\/strong>, return to the participant, and a copy of the official Competition Booklet<\/strong>. Payment must be made before shipping<\/strong>, so we invite you to contact us in advance at info@hobbyland.it<\/a><\/strong> to complete the process. <\/p>\n\n
