Let's see how to create a design with repetitive strokes, such as a mandala, using ImpressArt products on a metal plate.
What you need:
Step 1
Centre the mandala guide on the metal plate and attach it to the steel block. Start imprinting your design from the centre, using the lines and circles as guides to space the impressions apart.
NOTE - Be careful not to create air bubbles when attaching the adhesive guide to the metal plate.
Step 2
Keep the punch firmly against the metal plate, resting your hand on the work surface, and strike the punch only once with the hammer without applying too much force.
TIP - Use the TILT & TAP technique for 6 mm punches or for very detailed punches. While applying pressure to the punch, strike it only once without applying too much force; then, without moving the punch, shake it while tilting it slightly in a circular motion to capture all sides of the design.

Step 3
To continue and complete the work, imprint your design in a radiating pattern, rotating the steel block for each strike: this will ensure that the impression is made in the correct direction.
